Although colorful photographs are appealing, black and white photographs have greater expressive power due to the sharpness and seriousness of the two colors. Because there are fewer colors to distract the audience, they do not leave any doubts about their meanings.
The colors black and white also represent good and bad, darkness and light, sorrow and happiness. In reality, however, it is difficult to distinguish between these two colors. Because no one is completely good or bad, no one is always happy or sad, humans are a mix of both black and white qualities. One of the main reasons why black and white photographs have more meaning than color photographs is that there is always a lot to consider.
These black-and-white images will make you ponder the mundane things you see on a daily basis.
