Isa Bredt, a 22-year-old Dutch artist, uses a procedure called “Pet Disneyfication” to transform people’s dogs into Disney characters. She told bored panda that she’s been intrigued with painting since she was a child in a recent interview. After graduating from high school and deciding to study drawing and animation, she began to really explore it as a career option. Isa, on the other hand, abandoned the program after her third year to pursue a career as a pet portrait artist.
“Pet Disneyfications” were something she performed irregularly in her spare time for around five years. “I began because I was and continue to be a huge lover of both drawing animals and the old Disney aesthetic,” Isa explained.

Even though Isa’s designs resemble images from a Disney film, the artist clarifies that she is not a Disney employee. “I love vintage animal movies like Lady and the Tramp, 101 Dalmatians, and The Aristocats,” she says.

When Isa was 16, she created the r/Pet Disneyfication subreddit, where she began offering free drawings to individuals who sent her photographs as a chance to improve.
