The Dronestagram Photo Contest is in its sixth iteration, and the winners have already been announced. The completion is about catching the world’s moments from a different vantage point than anyone else. This competition receives thousands of submissions from all over the world and chooses the winners based on the quality of their drone photography.
The game “Hungry Hippos” created by zekedrone took home the first prize in this competition. He has taken images that show a group of hippos smiling and having a good time when they are submerged in murky water.
Eric from Dronestagram revealed in Bored Panda that there were six of them working together to get the most incredible photographs. It was not simply because we were given many thousand of them; consequently, you need to be highly organized to pick the best ones.
“A good photo taken with a drone should have a strong verticality and also show scenes up close, from a vantage that a drone can only capture. Then, it needs to have an aesthetic approach and style, and if feasible, it should represent life with people or animals.” Suppose you are interested in getting involved with this rapidly growing sub-genre of photography. In that case, you need to familiarize yourself thoroughly with the local laws and policies governing the operation of drones in the vicinity.
Eric has some pointers for those just starting out with drone aerial photography. “Before moving on to shooting, you must first become an expert pilot of a drone and master it completely,” Once you’ve mastered the basics of flying a drone, you may upgrade to a more sophisticated model by spending the same amount of money on a cheap but dependable model. Make an effort to fly in rural areas, and be sure to abide by all of the local laws and regulations!
