Beth Moon, a photographer in San Francisco, has been seeking the world’s most ancient trees for 14 years. She has traveled around the globe to take pictures of the most stunning trees that thrive in remote places and look like the age of the world itself.
“Standing at the top of the list as the planet’s most ancient and largest ever-living monuments, I am convinced that the symbolic trees are likely to gain greater importance, especially in an era when our focus is on finding better ways to live in harmony with our environmental conditions,” writes Moon in her statement as an artist.
