After being stranded at home for the duration of the lockdown, wildlife photographer Sharon Cutler from Bournemout was left with only her backyard to photograph. In response, she began photographing the wild squirrels that frequented her garden at that time. Sharon recalled having a small handmade bed that she had previously used to photograph her daughter’s guinea pig, which she had forgotten about. Following that, the photographer altered the bed and placed it in her garden, where she photographed the squirrels that came to enjoy it.

As soon as Sharon posted the images on Facebook, people fell in love with Cyril the Squirrel, who had come to relax in Sharon’s bed after a long day in the garden with his family.

The bed, according to Sharon, was created a few years ago as a prop for her daughter’s guinea pigs, according to an interview. As a result of the coronavirus, Sharon has been out of work for more than a month. “Because I’ve only had my back yard to shoot in during that time, I decided to see if I could capture a few images of the wild squirrels that frequent her garden,” Sharon explained. It was nothing more than hiding a few peanuts in the beds, and the squirrels went crazy for them.”

Sharon then proceeded to utilize even more little props.

A small bath in Sharon’s bathroom served as the setting for another bathroom picture, and she made the miniature towels rack, towel, and bath mat to complete the scene.

The bath appeared to pique the interest of the squirrels as well.

Currently, Sharon claims that she has a slew of project ideas in mind, with the only thing preventing her from getting started on them being a broken hot glue gun. I’m hoping that a new one will be released soon!
Anyone who knows anything about photography would never guess that such small animals could be so photogenic.
